This not that

I may have finally cracked on running advice. Maybe it’s just a phase. Don’t get me wrong I love running, reading about running, buying all things running related BUT I’m a bit tired of all the things one should and shouldn’t do to be a better runner.

Wear these shoes.
Eat this.
Run with arms.
Don’t wear those shoes.
Garmin.
No never a Garmin. Heart rate monitor.
Don’t heal strike.
Barefoot.
Lots of long runs.
Hansen Plan.
Lean forward.
Fartlek.
Go faster.
Make sure to go slow.
Treadmill.
Crosstrain.
Playlists.
Oh and my personal fave, “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it”

    Rest
    Elevate
    Compress

    Foam Roller
    Don’t foam if it hurts
    Don’t rest too much
    Massage
    Don’t massage too much
    Cross Train
    Take time off
    Don’t take too much time off
    Run 3 minutes. Stop
    Ibuprofen
    Ice
    just take your mind off of it?
