Rest in Peace

What a community; as much as this island makes me want to claw my eyes out sometimes, I remain astounded by the goodness in people here.

I was only able to run 3 miles because my son had a soccer game so I quickly turned and parted from the group. I have to say, I welcomed the peace of running solitary for just a little while today. I really enjoy running with friends but today really drove that thought home. It is serene and almost spiritual to be alone with your thoughts. Long runs are even better-sometimes all the noise disappears. But not forever. We never want to disappear forever.

Rest in Peace Sherry.
