Running in the wind sucks big time. It was so windy out today that I slowed down about 45 seconds per mile into head winds. Which then lead me into a panic attack about Eugene. Oh my god, I hadn’t even anticipated what the weather might be like on race day. What if I train my ass off, eat right, sacrifice things in order to race well and it pisses down rain? That would suck. Why do I have this feeling it’s gonna rain? Dear god please don’t piss rain in Eugene on April 29th.
What weather do you like least when running? Ever have a panic attack about something that hasn’t happend?
