It has been almost TWO months since the last post, sorry family.  After 5 years of schedule conflicts etc I finally finished my first half marathon in 2:17.  It was really fun to run with a great friend.  I had tons left in the tank but we wanted to stick together  and I’m so glad we did, it was a great time.  We stayed at the resort, shopped at Nordstrom (albeit in Spokane) and carbo loaded at some tourist trap.  Now “we” need to decide what race to do next.  I can say a marathon is in my future for sure, it is just a matter of when.  This running thing is great but a half was a little time consuming a full would certainly impact Team Lastoskie.  And not to mention living in BFE makes it even more challenging to find a race that is fun and easily accessible.  Besides the ONE night in Couer D’Alene (which I am very thankful for) it has been since Sept 2009 since I have left Walla Walla.  I think I am on the verge of a break down.  14days then Sam and I will be headed for Portland and then Virgina to see my family.  I am really looking forward to the vacation.
